I saw a really ridiculous, sad documentary last night about the carriage horses here in nyc that are abused and neglected and then, at the end of their life, they are sometimes sold to be slaughtered....before I knew it I was watching a horse get a few nails driven into his head and neck for slaughter...it was fuckin sick and disturbing...i can't shake that image....here's a link if you want to research further and sign a petition to tell Bloomburg to wake up.: banhdc.org
